First Nations Referenced in the Fort Victoria Post Journal (1846 – 1850)

The Hudson’s Bay Company traders’ naming of the First Nations groups they met with reflects local HBC and First Nations customs at the time and do not always line up neatly with modern organizations or ethnographic distinctions.
