Gullion, Charles Fraser

Gullion was born in Orkney, Scotland around 1828 and entered the service of the Hudson's Bay Company in 1850. He arrived at Fort Victoria on the Norman Morison in March of 1850 and served intermittently at Fort Victoria throughout the 1850s. He also served at Fort Nisqually and Fort Simpson before settling in Nanaimo in 1871. Gullion and Margaret Sullivan were married in 1860 and both died in Nanaimo in 1911.
